Ian Gordon Goaltending will once again be hosting a 2023 Summer Goaltending Camp in Saskatoon to offer Saskatchewan goalies an opportunity to sharpen their skills ahead of the upcoming season.
The camp will be held from July 21-23, 2023 in Saskatoon at the Rod Hamm Memorial Arena (1347 Fletcher Road)
Ian Gordon Goaltending camps focus on the following fundamentals to allow goalies to raise their game.
- Save selection
- Goalie Skating
- Tracking the puck
- Save recovery
- Active Gloves
- Proper use of the Goalie Stick
- Screens and deflections
- Breakaways
- Wraparounds and play behind the net
- Puckhandling
The camp will be split into two groups with 10 goalies per group.

Group 1: 9:30 am – 10:30 am, Noon — 1:00 pm
Group 2: 10:45 am – 11:45 am, 1:15 pm – 2:15 pm
Sunday, July 23 Rod Hamm
Group 1: 9:00 am – 10:15 am
Group 2: 10:30 am – 11:45 am
